       @gerrymcgovern at what point do these communities need to own this?  They don't do their diligence and then start complaining afterwards.  These companies know the demands of their systems. Did the community ask for them before inviting them in?  Is the AI Center exceeding them?  These people are all "Free Market" folk.  Raise the water rates. See what happens.

       @lawrence_stevens In many (most?) cases, in the US big-tech doesn't like to admit how much water they use so they classify it as a "corporate secret" and won't provide water estimates in their contracts. And for some stupid reason, people just let them get away with it. I'll never understand that.@gerrymcgovern
