       Sadly, I think we need to abandon the failed attempt to recycle plastic and just transition into pyrolyzing all of our waste in zero-emission waste-to-energy plants and sequester the inert carbon.

       @GreenFire I don’t think it’s failed, it works quite well for PET and HDPE bottles with standard-ish designs. But yeah a lot of people want to think you can just put any plastic in the bin and it’ll get turned into new plastic stuff and that isn’t the case and may never be.
