@SnoopJ @gsuberland Hey Snoopj, yes for the blue sketch under the line-work; a non-photo blue skeumorphism (today I saw on my TL digital artist using red https://misskey.design/notes/aawbzrtix5jz8s19 )But what Graham is referring is right before coloring I think; the way I silhouette character (mask their shape) to split foreground and background. I use blue (middle of the video) to paint the mask. From my test, it's easier with this blue channel to notice tiny holes, bad edges, etc.

@swfinder True :) If you load all the comments here (or on other platform) you'll probably see three or four comments who pasted Johnson's monologue or link to a video about it. Makes me nostalgic of my first play-through Portal 2. I really loved entering the old Aperture facilities, really designed like IBM's photo from the 60s.
