pretty interesting. the 3-4 people i conduct emails with sporadically i moved to deltachat with. now my poor mutt is full of spam mails which are fun to read (sometimes) but not the same.#deltachatyou too can make email fun again. it's just a transport. use it! https://delta.chat/en/if you need help setting up, let me know. also if you want to run your own chatmail/mail server, my dms are open

@logical_map also, one thing you can do (i do this). you can bind the system to wireguard with even a non-public routing domain name and just have household chat and emails. blog post coming soon although i think @feld did a great job advocating a similar model iirc

@adbenitez @feld @logical_map i'm working on breaking it all down so it's similar to a flow of the cmddeploy python stuffs you have in the repo.your setup works nicely, but i have different reqs so i make ansible do it and feld has done chef-standalone. we both (i think) backhaul traffic from a vps into the lab. so the tricky part with chatmail has been the acme bit. but i've been experimenting a way to deal with this. sorry i got on a tagent.but yes, i would love to provide a guide on how to do this for people. i can do a /contrib or add a /doc to the repo whatever works for you. (note to self, make a github account)also i may dm you on some questions i have for it or just use deltachat :-)
