       @olives Singapore is about the 4th highest gdp per capita in the world.  consistently around that point.  It's one of the highest paid and richest people in the world.  It's also got a public health system that actually does some public health work, and a culture that respects science, technology and literacy.  The temperature is, afaik, never -40 or colder.  And i hear the crime rate is relatively low.
