In other news, I've been working on this bit of embroidery for far longer than I should have, and am in the process of unpicking bits of it to redo them...The bumblebee isn't at all as defined and fresh looking as I'd like, and needs more dimension... But here we are.Also I don't know how to use my photo editing software yet. 😠#Embroidery

I have accomplished the bumblebee looking much friendlier and more alive, and the flower looking less flat, and also better colours for the photo!Collectively thank you for the nice comments, I am tired and not very brain!

I did also fix the middle bits of the flower yesterday, but was too tired to post it.Today, once I get around to it, I need to add some legs and the antennae to the bee and then it should maybe be done!#Embroidery

The problem with sort of winging it, only looking at one photo of a bumblebee and not the specific pose of the bee you're doing, and barely sketching it on and just going stitch by stitch... Means that I now must ponder Bee Physics, so I can figure out where the legs go and what the antennae do... Sort of trying to materialise a number of saved clips of bees in motion from my brain onto the fabric. 😆

I have completed the bumblebee embroidery! Here it is behind a veil because lol, putting on the legs and antennae made it look so much more like a real bee... I could keep working on it, but shall move on!#Embroidery #Bumblebee
