I went on a trip with my family to an garden island. I Recently picked up a Sony 16-35mm F4. I challanged myself and only used that one lens as Im not used to useing wide angles. I finaly got arround to edit these, but its a quick and dirty edit.. my health dosn’t allow me to sit at my computer to edit photos. I also have soem photos I took with my hasselblad, but I need to wait till I have recovered before I can scan and edit them. I hope to share them at a later date. #photography

@mia @arcana @meso I don't expect them to to care, i belive more the point is to specify what the creator allows or don't.

@Loyal ohey, watermarks are nice and small now so i can focus on the pictures :meowcamera: i realize that taking pictures of a garden during diffuse light can be quite challenging, so it's interesting how you tackled this problem. add to that you're using wide angles which you're unfamiliar with!i haven't seen enough of your photos to know your style, so i'll just focus on the pictures that do catch my eye, based on my eye: and that's the two arch pictures, one with the flowers and the other with the tree, those two are the ones with a more definite subject. you've got alot going on in the other pictures, but that's more reflective of the garden you happen to be in. maybe play around with perspective more, especially now that you've got a wide angle that can distort geometry in many interesting ways :comfycamera:

@cell i think with wide angles I don't have enough experience to really get good compositions yet. I need alot more practis.I was om a very tight time limit when I was visiting thid place so I probonly ran a bit too fast to be able to take my time and get good compositions. I not looked at the film photos I got. I hope I manged to better spend my time on them.

@cell it depends a bit. I think each image could benefit from diffrent editing. For inctence inn this case I would have liked to have spend more time on adjusting the white balance vetter. As you can see the rocks inn particular have avery strong green hue too them.In general I don't plan to go for realism. I think you should edit your photos to how they feel modt please to you. So i don't mind toying with the colors. Generaly I prefer a mor emuted aproch to colors, but inn this case I think I boosted them a bit too much for my own liking. But I have dificulties right now sitting inn front of my computer duo to my health so I ended up rushing these unfortunetly.

@Loyal well, considering all the constraints you were under, pretty good work, can't wait to see your wide angle shots once you're more comfortable and have more time being able to edit etc :cat_thumbsup:

@cell this was my first time with a wide angle like this. As with anything I will need a lot of practis in gneral, but thank you for your report. I will see what I can do once I have recovered
