@kaia Although I suspect this may be a trap... đŸ˜¬đŸ˜…Internet is a network where a ridiculous amount of computers/servers are somehow able to contact eachother for whatever purpose necessary, such as emails, file transfer, media streaming, etcSome of these computers will serve you "web pages" with content you can read or interact with, like news, blogs, banking, lexica, etcThere is no strict line separating the two. The web is a part of the internet, but not necessarily the other way around.

@kaia Well the internet is to mainly catch butterflies while the web not only catches butterflies but a lot of other insects like flies mosquitoes etc...

@silhouette @kaia it made me furious when the german localization of XFCE called the default web browser "Internetnavigator".It's just so wrong, there is no browser that supports all internet protocols. They are made to browse web documents and everything else is just luxury extra stuff

@kaia very coarsely, web = http(s), which is a subset of the protocols used on the internet. Among the many protocols, the only one still in widespread use are mail protocols, irc, ssh and then a long of tails of old ones still barely in use and some new ones chugging along with a small but devoted community of aficionados (e.g. gemini, which has nothing to do with the AI thing)
