my programming language hot take is that python-inspired languages shouldn't be named after snakes (eg cobra/boa/serp*nt).Python is named after Monty Python. Python-inspired programming langues should be named after British sketch comedy shows, damn it!

@foone At first I was writing in BlackAdder. And then I got to “BlackAdder Goes Forth.” Nobody wants to write in Forth. So I rewrote all my containers in Are You Being Served and the CI/CD test suites in Fawlty Towers.

@foone @sabik for multithreaded programming you can't beat The Two Ronnies.One thread signals it is about to exit with "It's goodnight from me" and the rest ACK that and confirm they're going to exit with "and it's goodnight from him". Then the program completes with "Goodnight".Oh, and there's the slightly buggy "FourCandles" package manager where you're not quite sure what it's going to install.
