And that made me think that the reviewer is bashing the album, but then I thought… why? It's the truth! Then the author proceeded to praise other aspects of the album and I realised it's just an honest opinion and that I even agree with it 😅Then I realised one more thing: they've never been serious with their stuff to begin with — you just perceived it differently as a teenager. Remember Die Eier von Satan off Ænima? This was never serious! I remember the band appearing in Mr.Show as Puscifer (this wasn't even a real band at the time, Maynard later reused it for his other project that didn't include other Tool members) — and I didn't read it on Wikipedia, I just happen to also be a huge fan of Mr.Show — but of course I've been watching it much later than when it was current, and I was like "WTF?!
