I never knew what people actually post on KiwiFarms, but in my opinion if you screw up BGP peering over what someone posts on a forum, you're not a real backhaul provider.

HE just peers for free because peering helps everyone's connectivity. cogent continues to disagree over 15 years later, leading to the two networks being completely separate on the public internet and leading to confounding routing problems until the root cause (cogent) is unearthed once again.
