Regarding that last repost, I completely agree...You don't vote? I couldn't care less about your opinion on the state of the nation. By not exercising your right to vote, you lose all rights to have your opinions respected. You not voting is simply laziness or apathy. I think we should do as Australia's apparently done and make voting compulsory. It would be interesting to see how elections would turn out if we did that here in the US.

@countrymetalhead @quanin Your opinion counts for nothing if the most you can do is vote.Unless you plan to overthrow the government, the best you can do is throw in with people who can produce goods/services which actually impact the way the country works. If you want landfills cleaned up, you can mine them. If you want green technology developed, you can become an engineer and work on those projects. If you want the media to be held accountable for lies, you can get a group together and call them out on it. People financially support lots of these projects - sometimes for entertainment, sometimes because it makes them feel good - and this produces a stronger impact than voting.
