3 years ago i cut "crappy" suger to near zero, im not talkin fruit and bread, just all the darn snacks and drinks. Like everything they sell at gas stations. Now my worst snack is the occasional potato chips and my only sugar item nowadays is homemade jelly which i consider a treat. Every day i drink black coffee, water and raw milk, occasional apple and grape juice, but those are homemade and canned, pure juice, no additives. In fall thru spring i drink homemade herbal tea at night with a dab of honey. I used to drink monster in the am then mtn dew with lunch, another monster mid afternoon and soda with dinner. Lots of sugary snacks every day. All that while still being not fat at all. I was not a bit overweight when i made this decision and i lost 10 lbs in 2 months. It was eye opening. It took 3 months to get over the cravings, now im not the least bit interested. Keep it up.

When I was in high-school my coach had a strict rule about no sodas. Sounded stupid at the time but after a while I stopped wanting sugar at all.
