       @judgedread a lot has changed since his era. Cartoons designed to sell breakfast cereal and toys, whatever, but now cartoons are like a multi-billion dollar industry. Bob Ross, same thing. "oh a painting of a tree? have you seen transformers 22?!?" My kid watched/watches Bob Ross, Nye, Beakman. he won't watch cosmos yet, but maybe within a year or two. It's unfortunate that all the good public programming is lost.Weird Al says it's harder than ever to make a parody song because of fracture
