       @bobcromwell He and his wife get to live their choices. No sympathy. Their daughters, though ... for them, sympathy. They're in a country that has survived on paranoia for over a century and actively dislikes the USA; no amount of effort will see them truly accepted by the government.As for moving to an enclave set up for US expats? That sure seems like the parents were trying to integrate... I think I rolled my eyes so hard I sprained one.
