       I've seen several posts on social networks criticising the cartridge-less cases that Nintendo is selling for the Switch 2.They go like this: On one side, picture of an empty Switch 2 game case, and it reads "Without a soul". Next to it, a picture pf a Switch game case with a cartridge, and it goes "With all the soul".And let me say - fuck it, I'm old. And because I'm old, I still remember the times when games boxes REALLY had a soul. When they came in chunky cardboard boxes, with a 100-pages printed manual, sometimes including foldable maps or posters.The way Switch games are packed, with just a tiny, cheap plastic box with just the cartridge and nothing else? That's the fucking bare minimum, it's nothing to celebrate. Bring back the good old '90s videogame boxes.#OldGamerRant
