@nemo @ricci oh as someone who works on storage systems, I’ve accidentally overwritten the first few sectors of my boot drive more often than I’d like to admit. I thought that’s change once I got a real job with industry standards and safeguards. No.

@ricci In my first project I typed the DISCO command into the wrong terminal. It was the system terminal of the production mainframe andapparently I took down all users. Fortunately my client didn’t make a big deal of this and I never heard of any damage. That was before computers were required for every step at work.
