       @TrevorGoodchild Wolf hall is on fire around here and TV is obviously not reliable. If you as a Doctor, with the limited historical info there is, were to diagnose Henry VIII, what would your opinion be?I miss you, you taught me so much over the years, i can never thank you enough. 😘  I know it sounds corny af, but it's true.

       @4Rome88 Wolf Hall is amazingHenry VIII sustained a traumatic brain injury while jousting that very likely caused severe frontal lobe damage. This contributed to his impulsivity, hypersexuality and very likely overeating. Which lead to morbid obesity. Which very likely lead to venous stasis in his legs if not type II diabetes mellitus, which would have caused the leg ulceration that he suffered from later in life

       @TrevorGoodchild It certainly is and beautifully made, nobody but the British could make the  surroundings so perfect.I found it hard to explain his personality change, a colleague mentioned syphilis as a possibility, i just don't see it, i'm sure your right -and diabetes explain his lack of healing in the legs.

       @4Rome88 The head injury is very well depicted in Wolf Hall. He was out for hours and Cromwell was certain he would be executed if the king diedOf course . . . things followed their natural course. Rylance is cast very well.

       @TrevorGoodchild So is Damian, he can change from a King to a serpent in a sec and the way he moves, i noticed it first when he danced with Irene in the Forsytes, just masterful and magnificent.
