       @futurebird somehow, it seems that whenever I've listened to an interview with a scientist  who works on fish, they talk of eating your study species, and often in an approving manner. And the factoid that flavor was historically used as a taxonomic character in fish for a long time comes up. But for workers on nearly every other animal group, eating your study species is usually viewed with reluctance and distaste. Now of course lobsters are not fish. But historically ...
