       It's that time in move where I audit the contents of my storage collection, and wipe/destroy anything small.  Today, I think I shall keep nothing below 64GB.

       @saramg@fosstodon.org Why? I find smaller SD cards and USB drives to be very useful. Especially when dealing with older devices that might not support more.

       @saramg  I like to put /boot on a USB stick, as it only gets written to on kernel upgrades, and then I can RAID everything else. I usually install the whole OS on a stick, with /boot in one partition and everything else in an LVM. On first boot I'll set up the raid array and pivot the LVM over to that. 16GB sticks are awesome for that.
