I’m so excited to get my actual website going and get to play around on it in a way I can’t on social media. I will Actually see my projects exist because I can share them in one place and keep the information/context together, and also mess around on the indieweb and maybe join some webrings.

@corn_pics OH I'M GLAD, honestly i've been meaning to do this for years but it's such a large undertaking, I had to spend most of my time getting comfortable enough with coding/programming before I could really start making a website (hence why i'm not drawing as much rn) because to me personalization is more important than using a preset layout because I want the layout to be an extension of my art and voice, not just a generic container for it.

@corn_pics if you ever need advice or tips, or even resources or inspiration feel free to hit me up! I'm still very much a newbie at this but I strongly believe in the importance of actually supporting other artists to have their own websites for their own expression because the social media sphere is such a jackhammer to artistic expression these days, with how little you can customize your profile, organize work, and freedom of expression + loss of accounts, etc.
