Meanwhile, drones cause about 75%... and Russia doesn't have the lead in drones. Their milbloggers routinely mention how far outnumbered they are when it comes to drones. Meanwhile, Russia's gains have slowed considerably.

As a result he always tries to split the difference assert "<threat>" in the future, but then either not follow up on it or change the rules, or move the date. They might even conquer Ukraine in ten more years and another few million Russian casualties, but it will be a Pyrrhic victory, and in a generation they'll have to give it back anyway. If the goal was to counter NATO, now the Swedes and Finns are in the alliance. Whoops!
