@Nonilex A lawyer may advocate on behalf of her clients only within the bounds of the law and their professional obligations, both of which are required to remain licensed as a lawyer.Trump and Bondi demand that they put his agenda above the law and their professional obligations, which makes leaving govt service a legal, ethical, and moral requirement. No presidential pardon could override that circumstance.Trump's USG lawyers will be as qualified as most of the new recruits to DHS.

And that in an adversarial procedure both sides have to a right be professionally represented by lawyers.
