       @selea It’s short for Most Valued/Valuable Professional and it’s handed out to people who contributes to the community with their expertise, via blogs and conferences and so on. Each field within the MS tech ecology has a number of MVPs across the world. There used to be a limit on how many MVPs there is at one single time but I’m not sure how it works nowadays. There’s a common misconception that MVPs are gurus within their field and this makes them attractive for consulting assignments.
