@KiKi88 My black Maron chicken laid its first egg. Its dark brown. I think it may be made of chocolate.

I have another one. Its the one that jumped the fence and got mauled by the neighbor dog. I nursed her back to health but am starting to wonder if that didnt fuck her up worse or if she is a rooster. Its brim and waddle and dry and small not full and red like the others. It also has full black eyes while the other Marons are brown with black in the middle kinda makes him her look demonic.

If it's not red by now, that's good, it's not a rooster. Also, saddle feathers. Do you see any? She's just a little behind Willing to bet in the next 2-3 months you'll see an egg from herYou might have one of those zombie cross chickens, which are badass looking

       >The Chider uses its webbing to spin egg cartons. While mature chiders are able to spin large egg cartons holding up to a dozen eggs, most chiders lay a handful of eggs at most in an appropriate sized carton. Many cooks have been surprised at breakfast time while cracking a chider egg that was unknowingly fertilized only to have hundreds of micro chiders crawl onto their hand and begin squawking.
