       @NotImpressed @palestine I agree with most of his speech, but I don't agree with saying that attacks from the USA or the UK are an attack from NATO. That would mean that every NATO country would actively contribute to that attack. It's an alliance that works together and gets everyone involved when one of them is being attacked. That's not the case in Iran. This is an attack from the USA, not from NATO. And if Iran strikes back, it's self defence, not an attack from Iran onto the USA.

       @karelbrits @palestine Sadly, they got involved in the Iraq war, as well as the Balkans, Afghanistan and Ukraine. Ukraine war was the result of NATO expansion in the East, in violation of existing agreements.US is planning war with China. I hope it won't happen and if it does (that's all they're talking about), that they don't request NATO involvement.

       @NotImpressed @palestine NATO should decline such a request. But with the current members not even declining to contribute 5% of their GDP to weapons doesn't give me much hope. Even Germany, who wasn't allowed to have much weaponry after world war II, is now obliged to invest in weapons. If you then blow up NATO and some lunatic seizes power in Germany... As a defence organisation I still believe it has some value. But not as an offence alliance.
