       @maddy Big games are genuinely wild in that regardI don't exactly have a powerful PC, but Satisfactory's shaders take ~20 minutes to compile :woozy_cat:

       @usernameswift I'm multitasking, so I don't terribly mind at the moment. I'm wondering what setting the Steam Deck has enabled such that I never see this on it - likely the background processing of shaders, if I were to guess.

       @maddy WellThey distribute shaders that have to be compiled for the hardware that they run onWhich is a huge rangeBut because the steam deck is always the same, I'd assume they have pre-compiled shaders for it
