I like when people on youtube just lie. this is supposedly a 4k60fps upload of a gameboy color game.The GBC only supports a resolution of 160x144!

@foone I've seen this used in legitimate ways when Youtube compresses specific games like shit, and a 4k60 or better upload is the only way to make it not tear the game footage apart when displaying it on a 1080p screen.I do, however, struggle to imagine this happening on the GBx in any way unless you're using very heavy shaders.

@foone Funny how you can see a typical system behavior here. We use lossy compression on the video to make it smaller and faster, so now you have to upscale the pixels by ridiculous amounts to make it look good because of the compression artifacts, and the resulting video is now actually much bigger.

@foone According to the back of my napkin, an uncompressed 4k still image is roughly 3 times the data a maxed out gameboy cart could hold.
