@coleens_ You don’t seem to understand socialism, communism, or capitalism at all... and drawing lines between them using a 1950s CIA dictionary helps no one in the current political environment.If you aim to critique systems of power, fine, but at least know the difference between ideology, state structure, and economic base. Equating “disappearing people” with communism is Cold War bullshit... and tacking on “capitalism does it too” doesn’t fix the framing, it just muddies the analysis.

@Radical_EgoComIt is a fascist method to make people "disappear", excercised on an industrial level in Nazi-Germany.Soviet Union had a problem with false denunciations which is tragic individually but not intended. There was also a real danger of colaboration with the Nazis to throw over the socialist state. ICE as fascist organization terrorizes US society. To you, when fascists dissappear people with secret police it's bad, but when the Soviet Union did it, it was "not intended," you relabel it "false denunciations" to make it sound not as bad, and you justify it by bringing up the possibility of conspirators attempting to overthrow the state, the same excuse that fascists made. @Radical_EgoComI wonder why you equal fascist mass deportation/KZ and soviet NKVD/GULAG. One was to mass murder people the other to re-socialize them. Anticommunism (and yes this includes a lot of wikipedia-authors) tells you both are the same.Of course there were conspirators which was a serious threat prior to the 2nd world war. In the case of fascism it was racism and anticommunism that motivated their actions to clear the homefront and be able to wage war.@fedwards9965 @coleens_

The Wiki articles have sources to back up the information in them. It isn't just some persons opinion on the matter. It's a fact that the Soviet Union did engage in the intentional mass murdering of millions of people, not just "re-socializing" or "relocating" them. This is very gross that you're willing to attempt to justify one of the worst atrocities humanity can commit just because it was done by people you like.@AllesInBewegung @fedwards9965 @coleens_

@Radical_EgoComWe all agree that deportation and ethnic cleansing amount to crimes against humanity since end of WW2. "Millions" of people just if you add people that died during the war. Collaboration with Nazi Germany in the years before the war was real, the majority of the prisoners in the GULAG criminals not political. I don't believe you would have liked Hitler win the war and these measures where mostly necessary to win over fascism I believe...sadly.@fedwards9965 @coleens_

We aren't allies. I don't tolerate people who try to justify the mass murdering of people. Yes, murder. They weren't just imprisoned; they were killed, an estimated 20 million in total, give or take. I would never want to ally with you or anyone like you because one day in the future, you may find it necessary to send me to a labor camp to die or have me shot in the head because you find it necessary, just as you found it necessary in the Soviet Union.
