       @judgedread @machciv The thing is, the sheer number of them...A lazy assumption of SD = 15 points would put 3 SD's at 130 with 99.7% falling below that.  But .003 x 1.5B = 4.5M folks above 130Roll that back to just 2 SD at 115.... That's 75M people above 115.  Those people won't split the atom, but they can score reasonably well on standardized tests, be good at Excel, do some financial calc., etc.Factor in some sample bias amongst White Americans who probably only meet the jeets savvy enough to get hired by the Indian recruiters  you can see why so many Whites in the US have a skewed view that pajeets are all computer gurus and doctors.  They only interact with the top 5%.  They never meet the 750M on the left tail of that 85IQ.

       @PhineasApplebutter I saw an estimate based on the distribution of Indian IQ that claimed out of the over a billion there were only 300k really high IQ ones.My observation is that they're all shameless liars and cheaters and you'd have to put them in an extremely vetted test environment to get at their actual abilities. They are absolutely capable of hiring some Chinese coolie to code for them.

       @judgedread I could believe that.  An exploded population like theirs would likely come from an r-selected group.  The clannishness is no joke.  My grad school cohort was 20% Indian.  They immediately network with the Indian alums who overwhelmingly hire Indians.  There's an entire pipeline built at this point.
