       I haven't tried it yet, but I just ordered some stuff from Clara & Fritz Tallow Shop! They are products from tallow, not the plain tallow itself. If you're looking for a good tallow facial cleanser, I really like the brand Kossma and their Butter Cleaner. Similar ingredients! A lot of plant-based stuff makes my skin break out (especially plants related to ragweed--like chamomile and calendula--which are often used as "soothing" ingredients).

       Aw thanks!! I appreciate that! I’m actually looking into making my own sunscreen to sell, so I need plain, pure tallow. But there’s a cooking grade and cosmetic grade.. some reviews have said they use the good cooking grade for cosmetics, so I’m curious of the difference.

       Ooh, that's so cool!!! Hmm... well, I have heard coconut oil can be used on the body and shouldn't be used on the face, so maybe it's similar with tallow (needing cosmetic grade for the face).What are you wanting to use for the UV protection???

       Coconut oil is an astringent, so by itself is not good for the skin, but mixed with like tallow, it would do the job. it’s actually one of the ingredients in the sunscreen. Carrot seed oil is for UV Protection. 😁

       Glad I could educate! I’m learning as I go along, too. Neat stuff! I’m actually looking into starting my own natural products line. I’m starting off with sunscreen, then I think I’ll move to deodorant cuz a lot of the same ingredients go into it.
