Confirmed #measles cases have been reported by 39 #states & jurisdictions as of July 5. Most of the cases have been reported in #Texas, #NewMexico & #Kansas, acc/to the #JohnsHopkins Center for Outbreak Response Innovation & the #CDC.The measles #outbreak in west TX is growing; 36 counties have reported cases, acc/to the TX Dept of State Health Services. As of July 1, TX has recorded 753 confirmed cases since Jan, including 2 deaths among school-age children living in the largest outbreak area.

@Nonilex Vaccinate yourself and your kids ASAP. Unless you (or they) had a severely negative reaction to a previous dose or have otherwise been told by your doctor not to get it, please just get it!Also, if you cannot get it for those legitimate health reasons above, you should be advocating for everybody you know that can get it to get it (unless they already have gotten the full regimen).
