       @pony JFC train trip PRG - CPH was a nightmare, and I even cheated a bit and drove to Dresden because only connection from Prague had like <20min transfer in HBG and I didn't want to risk getting stuck there

       @pony my seat in the ICE1 from Dresden was broken, I had a slight "my reserved seat was in a carriage that was wrapped in [out of order] tape" episode in the DSB train, on return trip the ICE3 HBG-BER was overpacked - people standing in jammed asile with their ridiculous fofrkufry the WHOLE WAY TO BERLIN, it took me 45 minutes to get from the door to my seat where an ancient lady was sitting. The REx from BER to Dresden was nice. All that for 3x the price of an airplane ticket.

       @mlekar I was hoping for one day Stockholm to Prague (well sub-24h) and it didn’t work, but only justAnyway they just announced they will run not one but two daily trains between Prague and Copenhagen from the next year somehow (I mean it’s not such a terrible stretch after Flensburg or Kiel)

       @pony yep, I am looking forward to that too - not having to worry whether I'd make the next transfer is my favourite way of traintravel ... So it's either direct trains or Japan ...
