The order of tentpole releases is revealing.First up, the strongest franchise - Jurassic World. No one wanted to go up against it so it has the weekend to itself.Then number two, Superman. Avoiding fraticidal conflict with a fellow summer popcorn feature it takes the next peak summer slot, second weekend in July.Finally the also-ran creeps onto the field, Fantastic Four, which Disney lacked the confidence to put out in May.

@judgedread Are you still feeling good about Superman? I'm not paying much attention but I see people complaining about Supes yelling and being emasculated by Lois.

@dogslurp James Gunn's Guardians films were by far the best thing the MCU ever produced. The cast looks good. It's hard to emasculate the most powerful living creature on earth.
