I don't believe being denied something is a valid excuse to commit harm to others.There are many other ways to acquire food that do not involve software development. You can make an ethical service that provides this sort of thing.In the case of a Twitch.tv there are two types of users. Viewers and streamers.The software distributed to the viewers will be very minimal. Either some form of client application or a website that contains javascript of some sort to handle things like chat interaction. There's nothing stopping you from making this software free in a way that conflicts with the way you want to make a profit.And then there's the software that the streamers would use. And that would mostly just be something like OBS Studio, which is already free.So all the software that users would need to run would be free. What software needs to be proprietary in order for it to make a profit according to you?

Some things are simply not possible without it.Of course access to the server side code would be ideal, but not a requirement.

@SuperDicq @sun The issue is that most people are so used to be exploited that when you don't, they think the opposite, which is madness.So far in what I propose full sysadmin and diagnosis/repairs for all computer for a housing for only 0,060483871 cent per hour (45 eur a month) which can get 66% tax deductions and most people still don't understand that it's cost effective/incredibly cheap.
