       I've recently attended a few climate and environment-related events and conferences where only vegetarian food was served. This is the way.

The same is not true in reverse.Also, they're climate and environment-related events FFS. It's well-documented that plant-based meals use fewer resources and produce less pollution than animal-based ones (when both are made from wholefoods, not highly processed junk food).@davidho

       @strypey We are omnivores. The point I was making is that not all of us are or want to be vegetarians. We should all have a choice unless it is purely a vegetarians event. Some country is not suitable for growing crops and fruit and veges. Grazing animals on such land adds complementery food sources. As with everything in life, balance and moderation is usually better than going to one or other of the extremes.
