I don't do criminal, and even civil prosecution is hard despite the lower "preponderance of the evidence" standard in most cases (some matters use "clear and convincing evidence"). This is a actually why I've done more civil defense in my practice. I just have to cut one link in the chain and it's over. Plus, I generally hate courts and law, find most fights to be generally ridiculous, and instead prefer private solutions. My best defense work never sees the courthouse door. In my mid-age I've been moving more towards probate and estates, contracts, and business advising, which have always been a part of my practice, and away from the hot headed days of my youth. It wears on you after a while, and I have enough clients where I can avoid litigation, unless it's for an existing client.

@djsumdog@djsumdog.com the problem is that people administering these instances often don't have the patience to properly moderate their instances or deal with the abuse so instead of doing their work properly they just block an entire community well most software that uses activity pub have a feature where you can do this on a user level you as user can block instances from interacting with you without affecting the other users using your instance. So unless the instance you are blocking is less than 20 people and they all harrass you, its lazyness and censorship
