       Sitting here trying to explain to my English other half that cutting down a Rowan tree is horrible bad luck and will bring the rage of the faerie folk on her…while trying to seem reasonably sane….squints in traveller….

       @Funsizescot1975 It is also a thing in England. Rowan trees protect against evil sprits and when they moved into their house 35 years ago my dad wanted to cut down a rowan tree. My mum objected and planted two more and all are still doing really well, and the house is free from bad faeries.
