       it was hot in Germany in the olden times as well. in 1964 it was 42°C for a whole week with Sahara dust and bushes spontaneously combusting. but we still walked to school at 5am, 6km uphill, carrying the half a pound of potatoes you had to give to the schoolmaster as payment. no smartphones, just us living in the moment!
