@foone SunPro and SunSoft were early Sun Microsystems subsidiaries. See msun https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd-src/blob/main/lib/msun/src/s_tan.c or https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd-src/blob/main/lib/msun/src/e_sinh.c . Probably just name clash? That’s why compiler variable was SUNPRO_CC.

@foone Ah, that brings back memories. Sweet, sweet preprocessor abuse… 🥹

@foone SunPlus is popping up a lot in the MAME plug and play projects. It's not a Genesis on a chip, but people used their myriad variants to achieve fairly similar effects. Certainly there are SunPlus coded Tetris variants out there.

@foone It's so weird how NES hardware emulators seem to be in absolutely every instant ewaste device you can order on the Internet but none of them have any documentation on how to use the emulator, like how to load a ROM or connect a controller or anything, & it seems like it's never intended to actually be used. I wonder why they're there if you're not supposed to use them, wouldn't it be cheaper to not put a NES emulator on the chip?
