depends on what you're looking for, NVIDIA 50X0 cards are still kind of retarded costly for the good ones and power issues haven't been fully addressed. but the supply situation is ok

@Paultron-3030 need something beefy. my current keeps shitting itself whenever i try to do game dev or video editing. gaming is a nice plus.im looking at logical increments and the 1300-1500 price range seems pretty decent

AMD CPUs with the 3d V-cache are still dummy expensive but i've noticed if you look around sometimes it seems like a bunch of i9 and other hi tier intellium shit is getting dumped into the market. may be worth keeping an eye out to get a good CPU in the $300ish range

The cool thing about building PCs is they're modular you can buy cheap shit in the same generation and slowly replace with the good stuff if you're on a tight budget.

I have nvidia on linux it just werks, we're mostly past the days where that kind of compatibility would break a build.
