I think every single country that Trump has threatened should actively pursue whatever they see fit for deterrence purposes.Nazis don't listen to words. Iran, while it has a brutal domestic regime, is actually not expansionist at all. It largely keeps to itself in that regard.It primarily influences the politics of the countries around it through soft power and covert aid to militant groups.

And one last thing I'll say: the only way to achieve world peace and denuclearization is the overthrow of the international bourgeoisie and the nation state system.Otherwise, you will always have economic competition between countries, and this competition will inevitably cause wars over resources (such as the oil-motivated US invasion of Iraq). Additionally, this process of competition naturally creates economic hegemons that then use this advantage towards the creation of bigger weapons arsenals than other states.
