       The ideological shift in the Supreme Court wouldn't be such a four-alarm fire if Congress hadn't spent the last several decades abdicating its responsibility as a co-equal branch and handing off many of its most important functions to the executive in order to avoid ever having to take a political hit.

       There should be some kinda like, courage test that you have to take before running for elected office where if you fail you just don't get to.

       @thekitmalone I agree it is a courage issue. Democrats could have passed well-crafted legislation to do progressive things when they had control that the Supreme Court would be bound to follow since they are supposed to interpret law, not legislate. So many leaders are afraid of their shadows that they forsake their duties to advocate and pass legislation for people and instead let the Supreme Court do it for them.
