What a glorious day. On my way to work I (tactically) intercepted the USPS truck which had my other new watch on it. It's... It's beautiful. 🥲I cannot decide though, bracelet or FKM / leather stitched sport strap looks better... (I'm not usually a watch bracelet guy but this one is a fantastic finish and light. It's an homage to one of my favorite watches ever. The Omega Speedmaster Racing Calibre 9900 (It's $9,700 new ain't nobody afford that.)

@Jewpacabra @pepsi_man Yes. That is excellent advice. Don't just buy a $4k watch for your first one. If you're looking for a more military-inspired watch let me recommend the Hamilton khaki. Fully built in the United States in a company formed in 1877. Under $800 when sales hit.

@Jewpacabra @pepsi_man Hamilton Khaki's are timeless, high quality, reliable & come in almost any color combo & look like an entirely different watch when you change the bracelet / NATO / parachute strap.I have multiple straps and bands for almost all of my watches It's an inexpensive way to essentially have a new watch whenever you swap the strap. This is all the same model But with different straps. Look how different the watch looks when you go from a metal bracelet, to a NATO strap, and finally a rubber traditional strap.
