       check it out! it's a Rochelle salt crystal gifted to me and the MAL by Matt Parker! these wild crystals generate electricity or, when put under electric stress, they "speak": "The crystal...will emit tones in consonance with the potentials applied" (from The Electrical Experimenter Dec. 1919)

       @loriemerson TWO audions! Do they think we are all rich?! Lol neato. Nice instructions on growing the crystal. I love how the puddle of mercury goes without comment. I think it's purpose is to prevent the crystal from attaching to the jar bottom. Melted parafin would probably work.
