Going through my old art always fucks with my mentality. I feel like I have become lazy in my concepts since coming back. Maybe nostalgia is just powerful though. I think I am going to make more of an effort to follow my old workflows. Hopefully this doesn't read as pity baiting. It's more just a personal feeling I have been having.

@MoeMortem Venting is fine, it's nice to get to understand you a little better!I think your art has gotten much better overall from the updates you've been sharing, as for concepts, it's possible you were more focused on certain settings back then, now you're focused on others.

@Ice_Vmp I think that is a good point. Sometimes I wonder if by going more explicit with my art, I lost a core part of my mentality for how I concept out a scene.

@MoeMortem in my case, I was a creative person, I enjoyed writing, creating stories and characters based on personality more than visuals, I wrote both, porn and fantasy.With time, age and probably the easier way of getting sexually gratified, I got less creative and more interested in gratifying myself, so yes, it could be that letting your focus drift to new areas could be contaminating others.

@MoeMortem I think your art is great, then and now. Your use of color is great, your composition is superb and I really love the details you have in your pictures.They give context to your pictures and make your scenarios have more impact in the lewd factor.Even if you have Dagger not expose her good bits, the scenario in her pictures elevates her sex appeal.Speaking of, I think you have a great sense of character design.Knowing them at a glance without clothes is very impressive. Be proud!

@MoeMortem I've kind of interpreted it as payoff. The transition from teasing nudity and implying sex, to showing nudity and getting to sex.

@MoeMortem i think that the arts from before and now are both amazing!! Remember to do something you enjoy doing. I don't think you have became lazy! But yeah i fear that if you'll push yourself too much to be like before you left, well, i fear that you'll want to leave again 😅

@MoeMortem I totally get it, I go back and see things I liked in my old art, too. The constructive thing to do is to ask "why" you liked it, and how you did it, so you can work that into your new stuff. It can be a breath of fresh air! Just don't go too far with it or make any sweeping statements; explore your old stuff and enjoy it!

@MoeMortem I wish I knew the perfect thing to say, I really admire you and your art. I just want to tell you that I love all of your art then and now. It's always great to strive for improvement, but burnout is very real and I know you've hit a really hard wall before from that kinda stuff, so I worry about you. I really REALLY want to see you continue to make art without having to stress about it, I was so sad when you left that time and was so happy to see you come back. Love you FIZ-ROT ❤️
