@davidrevoy Gosh, I remember a few years back, we had a two week period where it fluctuated between 32-38°C, but that hot for us up in the Pacific Northwest of the States. A lake nearby that was usually cold all year never felt so good. We would litterly jump in all clothed and get out and an hour later, we were dryed out. I know it could be worse. For example In Arizona, you could technically fry an egg on the street down there with just the sun alone.

@davidrevoy for some, an alternative to the large glass of ice would be the ol bowl of ice, Infront of a blowing fan. (bonus points if you fill that bowl with ice cold water. Works as a good cheap cost, air conditioning.
