For any Arch users that haven't seen it yet, there's some pretty required manual intervention going on https://archlinux.org/news/linux-firmware-2025061312fe085f-5-upgrade-requires-manual-intervention/

@BrodieOnLinux Exactly why I made this python abomination: *attached*I ship this in BredOS and it's fancy ricey sh*t that opens in every terminal so I expect lots of peoples to just leave it enabled (you can change it's colors). It's literally made for this. Before I even woke up the grandbred had posted it.This way I get to inform everyone every time ALARM (Arch Linux ARM) fucks something up or when new sh*t drops.

@BrodieOnLinux if I recall correctly, there's an option in pacman (--overwrite '*') which should work as oneliner for this type of problems, I couldn't remember it at the time of my latest upgrade, so I did it like they recommended it in the news.

@BrodieOnLinuxNoticed this when trying to Update my ALARM Pi's. Btw: pacman-g2 *can* handle this (with "removes" set to those files)

@BrodieOnLinux how can pacman commands be used with those unreadable CLI flags? Just look at it. It's right there.

@BrodieOnLinux thanks for the heads up, luckily it's an easy fix for end users.
