       I shy away from the "Apple philosophy" with all my might, but there are many companies that apply it. I have a high-end 3D printer with a closed ecosystem, nothing that frightens an Apple user, but it terrifies me. Why? Because a simple (bad) printing bed costs more than 120 euros. It's not a question of whether I can afford it, it's that I don't want to do it.Fuck them, I'm going to get a Chinese one (and probably better) for half the price.#3dprinting

       @licho I wanted to do it, but it is a printer for a company and I needed something “plug & play”. I wish I had had a few days to spend assembling and testing a Voron.  Just a couple of days...

       @licho Believe me, when I bought that printer I knew what I was doing and the potential consequences. I weighed all the alternatives (yes, even this one), but I can't risk it in a context of needing immediate results.The collateral result? Abusive prices for generic components and no access to some basic configurations in the 3D printing world. At least it prints great.

       @simon_schwarz I need to print technical materials in closed environments, with independent double extrusion and in many occasions, objects of considerable height. Prusa printers were unfortunately not on the board at the time.

       @teotwaki @simon_schwarz It is not IDEX, it's significantly more expensive than the RAISE3D Pro3 Plus and has a smaller print area.It's incredible that I don't even have one Prusa in my arsenal. 🙄
