@Suzdal92 not that it is that important, but i don't get it. online digging suggests "your heart is a muscle the size of a rat." fits the meter for "Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?" https://www.reddit.com/r/iamverysmart/comments/9gtrml/on_a_post_about_how_your_heart_is_a_muscle_the/but does it?i don't think so. so i am perplexed.curiously yours, paul.

@amiserabilist @Suzdal92 it does fit tho, doesn't it? There are 4 feet in each line and they can be scanned as: iamb | anapest | anapest | anapest or am I missing something?

@amiserabilist @cgsines @Suzdal92 For me, there has to be syllable count agreement for the flow to sound the same. Pineapple throws the whole thing out of sync for me. Obviously, this not an important thing to take too seriously, but that's my explanation of how it trips me up.

@amiserabilist @cgsines @Suzdal92 Certainly, if it works for you, that's awesome. For me, it's the number of syllables in the word pineapple that trip me up, not the number of syllables in the whole sentence. So "pineapple" and "muscle the" don't have the same rhythm to my ear. It's subjective, of course.
